An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electronic Beam Welder to join Rolls-Royce.

What you will be doing:
- Build tooling and load parts onto tooling
- Concentricity and alignment checks
- Autonomous machine maintenance and process controls.
- Maintaining part traceability
- Welding of Compressor drums, Shaft, Blisk assemblies and other parts
- Contribute to process improvement activities and methods of managing process risks (PFMEA)
Position requirements:
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Follow complex build sequences
- Experience of using CNC machinery
- Computer literacy (use of web pages, spreadsheets)
- Lifting and slinging trained
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience of using Statistical Process Control charts
- Appreciate the importance of Process compliance and attention to detail.
- Appreciation of Critical Part Control
- Experience of obtaining axial concentricity through manual clocking
